This chef knife post earring is cast in solid sterling silver and has a notched post with a friction ear nut.

It measures 15/16" long and 3/16" at it's widest point.

The earring is set with two round brilliant diamonds, 1.35-1.45 mm, SI1 clarity, G/H color, weighing approximately .03ctw.

You can also purchase this earring with 18K gold plating or 24K rose gold plating.  This earring will have a sterling silver post and a gold filled friction back.
