Lotus Root Pendant Necklace in 18K Yellow Gold Plated Sterling Silver

Nature gives us inspirational forms - as it does for this lotus root pendant neckace.

The slice of lotus root is about 1/2 inch across and is hung on an 18" gold plated sterling silver cable chain.

I created this design by handforming the pendant in wax, which was then cast in sterling silver and plated with 18K yellow gold.
